    The Assessor’s Job

    The Assessor is responsible for preparing market value estimates for every property in the Town of Argyle.  The values are used to determine the tax burden for each parcel.  Annually the assessor reviews each property to determine if a change in assessment is necessary.

    July 1, Valuation date

    March 1, Taxable Status date

    March 1, Exemption application deadline

    May 1, Tentative Roll Date

    Fourth Tuesday in May- Grievance Day

    July 1, Final Roll Date

     

    Exemptions
