Argyle Youth Commision
2008 4th of July Parade float
Float designed and fabricated by Corinne & Tom Genovese…
Driven by Robert Humiston.
Hay wagon and tractor donated by Steve Stevens.
Construction of the float was started on Tuesday July 1 and was completed late on Thursday July 3. It took over 26,000 individual sheets of facial tissue, more than 1,900 staples and over 450 square feet of chicken wire to construct the float.
The youth commission would like to acknowledge and thank SCA tissues, Argyle Hardware, and Burgoyne Quality Hardware for their donations of materials.
Thanks to all of our volunteer tissue stuffers: Jeramiah Battease, Vikki Genovese, Tyler LaChapelle, Nicole Liddle, Shelly McKernon, Mia Mizzochi, Samantha Newsome, Melissa, Erica and Christopher Reynolds, Andrea Richards, Audrey Saunders and Christina Tucker.
And special thanks to Don and Bea Neron for all of the hours they put in and their invaluable assistance.

the responsibility for coordination of youth
programming within Argyle to ensure that youth between
the ages of 5 & 18 are served with the best possible
youth development and delinquency prevention
programs."
Programs offered: fall soccer, youth basketball,
little league, Tri-County middle league, flag
football, swimming lessons, bike rodeo, 9-12
basketball (intramural).
